4th Annual State House to Farmhouse Event at Choiniere Family Farm joins legislators & farmers

On Monday Sept 13th, 2021, the Franklin County Natural Resources Conservation District co-hosted the 4th annual State House to Farmhouse event with Healthy Roots Collaborative at the Choiniere Family Farm in Highgate. The event brings together farmers and legislators and policy makers to discuss what's happening on the ground, on the farm, and in the state house. On farm slaughter, selling products from farm stores, bringing students onto farms for school credit, and much more were discussed among the 20+ attendees. Thank you Guy and Matt Choiniere for hosting us all day and showing everyone around the farm!
