Lake Carmi Watershed Workshops

Updated: Jul 26, 2023

Franklin County NRCD is partnering with the Franklin Watershed Committee to offer four educational Watershed Workshops for Lake Carmi community members. These workshops will offer helpful information for folks interested in learning more about lake health, lake-friendly practices for homeowners, and the connection between streams and lake water quality.

Each workshop will consist of a 1-hour presentation and Q&A with an expert guest speaker. Following the expert presentation, there will be a 1-hour period of discussion for all participants to get involved, ask questions, and share their thoughts.

If you are interested in attending one or more Watershed Workshop, please RSVP by emailing info@FranklinCountyNRCD.org or calling 802-528-4159.

Franklin County NRCD is also offering free Lake Wise assessments to lakeshore properties owners at Lake Carmi this summer. Interested folks can schedule a Lake Wise visit by emailing info@FranklinCountyNRCD.org or calling 802-528-4159.
