Earth Day Volunteer Planting

Join the FCNRCD team on Wednesday, April 22nd, at the Manning Dairy Farm in St. Albans for an Earth Day tree planting! Planting trees in riparian areas help to restore wildlife habitat, stabilize stream banks and floodplains, and improve water quality.

Adults and children are welcome. Volunteers may come for the whole day (9am - 3pm) or just a portion of a day. You do not need to be there at the start of the event or stay until the end.

Please bring the following: water, lunch/snacks, boots, sunscreen, bug spray, hat, long pants, anything else needed for a day outside, and gloves and a shovel if you have them.

Parking: 44.87680N, 73.04808W. There will be event signs to follow as you approach the site directing you to the parking location.

If heavy rains, lightning, or thunderstorms are expected, the event may be cancelled or postponed. Participants will be notified by 10am the day prior to the event, or by the 8am on the morning of the event if conditions develop unexpectedly.
