About the event
The Missisquoi River Fishing Festival is back!
Celebrate fishing in Franklin County with stations, activities, and learning opportunities designed to encourage connection with the rivers, fish, and wildlife traveling through our communities. People of all ages and fishing experiences are welcome to share their love of the water and learn more about fishing. Everyone is welcome; no fishing experience required!
Stations include casting, fly tying, species ID, and fishing practice, and will be led by Franklin County NRCD and staff from Champlain Valley Trout Unlimited, US Fish & Wildlife, the Enosburgh Conservation Commission, VT Fish & Wildlife, and the Missisquoi River Basin Association.
Event Information & Accessibility
Parking is available at the Enosburgh Park & Ride, located at 195 Pearl Street. The event will take place on a small grassy field. Please note that access to the fishing area includes rocky steps, and a portable restroom will be available onsite.
