About the event

Marsh Brook is Lake Carmi's largest tributary, running about 2.8 miles before it empties into the lake via Lake Carmi State Park. Walk along the stream with expert Vermont River Scientist Staci Pomeroy from the Vermont DEC Rivers Program to learn more about watersheds and how rivers impact lake health. At the end of our stream walk, we will take a sample of the river bottom together and discover the small macroinvertebrates that call the riverbed their home!
