Stream Wise: Slice of Stewardship

Grab a slice of stewardship with the Franklin County NRCD and Missisquoi River Basin Association (MRBA)! Enjoy a free pizza dinner while learning how to care for our local streams. We’ll discuss how stream stewardship can protect water quality, enhance wildlife habitat, build flood resilience, and support recreation.

You’ll also learn about Stream Wise, a program which offers free stream consultations for landowners in the Lake Champlain Basin to help you learn how to protect and improve the naturally vegetated area of land adjacent to streams. Plus, get to know the invasive species commonly found along streams and take part in a Q&A on how to manage them effectively.
