Join the Abenaki Nation of the Missisquoi for a Water is Life Event on Sunday June 11th

Date: June 11, 2023

Place: Louie's Landing, Swanton, VT


The Abenaki Nation of the Missisquoi is paddling the length of Lake Champlain this summer. The long trip will be broken up into several dates over the summer, each covering a different section of the lake. The event will kick off in Swanton, VT and travel from the Missisquoi River into the lake on June 11, 2023.


If you are interested, please email the tribal office at info@abenakination.com to register. Further details and requirements for this trip will be sent to you once you register.


Requirements:

- Signed release form for everyone in your group or family

- Map of event trail

- Canoe & Paddles (canoes will be available if needed)

- Life preserver

- Water

- Bug spray

- Sunscreen

- Sunglasses


Each family or group is responsible for the safety of its members. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
