The Franklin, Grand Isle, and Lamoille County Natural Resources Conservation Districts in partnership with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) are seeking your ideas to focus our work and programming for the future in the Northwest Zone of Vermont via a Locally Led Conservation Survey and Public Local-Led Conservation Meetings!

RSVP for the Local-Led Conservation Meeting on November 1st The Northwest Zone of Vermont wants to hear from you! From the shorelines of our lakes and ponds, to the rolling fields dotting mountain roads, to your backyard, every space matters. We want to hear about your natural resource priorities and what we can do to help. We hope to incorporate the goals and needs of residents into developing priorities for program direction and funding. To do this, we need your help in deciding which natural resource concerns, along with their appropriate solutions, are most important in each of our counties. The survey above and the 2nd Northwest Zone Public Local-Led Conservation Meeting (details below) are open to all residents, farmers, farm workers, forest owners, loggers, recreators, and resource professionals. Your feedback will be considered by regional professionals in natural resources management and agriculture, and incorporated into the NRCS's ranking system for awarding financial assistance to producers. ​ Join us for the 2nd Northwest Zone Public Local-Led Conservation Meeting Tuesday November 1st from 5:30 to 7:30 pm Greg Brown Lodge at Hard'ack Recreation Area 179 Congress Street, St. Albans ​ Dinner will be provided.
